A LIST OF JAPANESE FOOD DISHES

With a month in Japan ahead of me, I wondered what I could do to delve deeper into the culture. I had plans to visit lots of the famous sights, to try some of the wacky experiences, and meet the local people… but I wanted more.

That’s when the idea to try a new Japanese food dish every single day for a month struck. I’ve always been a big fan of Japanese food but generally go for the same things that are available at the westernised restaurants around the world. But here was my chance to eat like a local and discover things I had never heard of before.

It was a great challenge and one that my stomach certainly agreed was worth the effort. I’m very pleased to be able to share it with you now. Perhaps you could use this list of Japanese food to plan your own trip to the country – or maybe it will just inspire you to look for some of these dishes at restaurants in your local area.

Please let me know if you try any of them and what you think…[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” position=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][latest_post post_number_per_row=”3″ rows=”3″ order_by=”date” order=”ASC” title_tag=”h3″ category=”japanese-food-1″ text_length=”200″][latest_post post_number_per_row=”3″ rows=”3″ order_by=”date” order=”ASC” title_tag=”h3″ category=”japanese-food-2″ text_length=”200″][latest_post post_number_per_row=”3″ rows=”3″ order_by=”date” order=”ASC” title_tag=”h3″ category=”japanese-food-3″ text_length=”200″][latest_post post_number_per_row=”3″ rows=”3″ order_by=”date” order=”ASC” title_tag=”h3″ category=”japanese-food-4″ text_length=”200″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
